Personalvorstände in mitbestimmten Unternehmen

Abstract

Personal agiert nach wie vor nicht auf Augenhöhe mit anderen Vorstandsressorts. In weniger als der Hälfte der größeren mitbestimmten Unternehmen ist ein eigenständiges und fachlich für personelle und soziale Angelegenheiten verantwortliches Personalressort vorhanden. In vielen Unternehmen ist Personal eine Art Nebenjob für anderer Ressorts. Angesichts der zahlreichen personalpolitischen Herausforderungen vor denen Unternehmen stehen überrascht dieser Befund. Auch die Rolle des Arbeitsdirektors, also die Rolle des Mittlers zwischen Beschäftigten- und Unternehmensinteresse wird selten besetzt und dann häufig mit massiven Rollenkonflikten verbunden, wenn etwa der CEO als Arbeitsdirektor auftritt. Der Policy Brief Nr.6 betrachtet derartige Entwicklungen aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven und formuliert Handlungsbedarf.
