Entwicklungsperspektiven für die deutsch-dänische Grenzregion

Abstract

Im Rahmen der Studie werden wirtschaftliche Stärken und Schwächen beidseits der deutsch-dänischen Grenze sowie Handlungsfelder für eine vertiefte Kooperation in der Grenzregion identifiziert. Es wird analysiert, welche "kritischen Massen" in der Grenzregion mobilisiert werden könnten, um auf beiden Seiten der Grenze Schwächen zu überwinden und die Gesamtregion im Wettbewerb um Investoren und knappe Arbeitskräfte zu stärken. Auf Grundlage einer Expertenbefragung werden Schlüsselfaktoren für die Entwicklung der Grenzregion abgeleitet und mögliche Entwicklungsszenarien für die deutsch-dänische Grenzregion modelliert. Das Autorenteam zeigt darüber hinaus, dass die Erfahrungen und Kooperationsmodelle bereits stärker integrierten Grenzregionen Lerneffekte für die Institutionalisierung der Zusammenarbeit und insbesondere für die Ausgestaltung von Arbeitsmarktkooperationen bieten.
