Zum Umgang mit den Preisbremsen in den VGR und Verbraucherpreisen

Abstract

Die Preisbremsen für Gas und Strom sollen private Haushalte und Unternehmen von den hohen Energiekosten entlasten. Die Preisbremsen beeinflussen die Preise für Gas und Strom nicht unmittelbar, sondern die privaten Haushalte und Unternehmen erhalten Zahlungen, die anhand ihres bisherigen Verbrauchs und dem Abstand zwischen den Referenzpreisen und den tatsächlichen Preisen berechnet werden. Private Haushalte und kleinere Unternehmen erhalten auf 80 Prozent ihres historischen Verbrauchs - in der Regel gemessen am Vorjahresverbrauch - die Differenz zwischen dem jeweils laufenden Preis und 12 Cent je Kilowattstunde für Gas sowie 40 Cent je Kilowattstunde für Strom. Für Fernwärme gilt ein Preis von 9,5 Cent als Berechnungsgrundlage. Größere Unternehmen erhalten auf 70 Prozent ihres historischen Verbrauchs die Differenz zwischen dem jeweils laufenden Preis und 7 Cent für Gas und 13 Cent für Strom.
