Zur Immobilienkrise in China

Abstract

Die chinesische Wirtschaft expandiert seit einiger Zeit deutlich verlangsamt - im zweiten Quartal 2022 schrumpfte sie sogar spürbar. Bereits seit dem dritten Quartal 2021 liegt der Produktionszuwachs im Vorjahresvergleich in jedem Quartal unter 5 Prozent und damit deutlich niedriger als vor Beginn der Pandemie. Maßgeblich für die Schwäche waren nicht nur Sonderfaktoren wie knappheitsbedingte Einschränkungen in der Energieversorgung sowie die Infektionsschutzmaßnahmen im Zuge der Null-Covid-Politik, sondern auch Probleme im Immobiliensektor, welche die Konjunktur in China noch längere Zeit belasten dürften.
