Zum Effekt einer hohen Flüchtlingsmigration auf das Erwerbspersonenpotenzial

Abstract

Für Deutschland zeichnet sich in diesem Jahr die höchste Zahl von Asylbewerbern seit mindestens 60 Jahren ab. Von Januar bis August wurden bereits 257 000 Asylanträge gezählt; dies entspricht einem Anstieg gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum von 122 Prozent. Setzt sich dieses Tempo bis zum Ende des Jahres fort, würde eine Gesamtzahl von 450 000 Asylanträgen erreicht. Dies wäre geringfügig mehr als im bisherigen Rekordjahr 1992, in dem 438 000 Anträge gestellt wurden. Die Zahl der in Deutschland ankommenden Flüchtlinge liegt spürbar über der Zahl der Asylanträge, da zwischen Ankunft und Antragstellung derzeit mehrere Monate vergehen.
