Freiberufliche Gründungen in Deutschland: Auswertung von Daten der Finanzverwaltung für die Jahre 2008 bis 2011

Abstract

Das IfM Bonn legte zu Beginn des Jahres 2012 erste Daten zum Gründungsgeschehen in den Freien Berufen vor. Ende des Jahres 2012 konnten die aktuellen Daten der Finanzverwaltungen erstmals für alle 16 Bundesländer ausgewertet werden. Im Jahr 2010 haben nach Berechnungen des IfM Bonn 155.000 von 728.000 Personen eine selbstständige Tätigkeit (einschließlich Nebenerwerb) im Bereich der Freien Berufe aufgenommen. Mehr als jede fünfte Gründung (21,2%) findet somit in den Freien Berufen statt. Dieser Anteil war im Zeitraum 2008 bis 2010 konstant. Auch für das Jahr 2011 ist keine nennenswerte Änderung zu erwarten. Je 10.000 Einwohner im erwerbsfähigen Alter setzten in den Jahren 2008 bis 2010 jährlich rund 30 Personen eine freiberufliche Gründung um. Im Vergleich der Bundesländer sind Berlin und Hamburg mit rund 70 freiberuflich Gründenden je 10.000 erwerbsfähige Einwohner führend. Schwach entwickelt sind freiberufliche Gründungen in Saarland, Rheinland-Pfalz und Sachsen-Anhalt.
