Abstract

Friedrich A. Hayeks Begriff der Wissensteilung weckt in einer Wirtschaft, für die mittlerweile das Wissen die wichtigste Ressource darstellt, neues Interesse. Hayeks Problem bestand darin, wie das in der Gesellschaft verstreute Wissen zu nutzen ist. Daß "Jedermann alles weiß", wie die neoklassische Gleichgewichtstheorie unterstellt, trifft ja offenbar für die Wirklichkeit nicht zu. Die Lösung ergibt sich nach Hayek über die vom Wettbewerb gefundenen Preise. Sie zeigen den einzelnen Agenten an, was sie zweckmäßig zum eigenen Vorteil und zu dem der Gesellschaft tun können, auch wenn sie nur über ein beschränktes (implizites) Wissen verfügen. Aber welche Bedingungen müssen erfüllt sein, damit die Agenten zur wissensteiligen Interaktion bereit sind? - Die Neue Institutionenökonomik beantwortet diese Frage nicht. Sie ist nur an den Institutionen der arbeitsteiligen Interaktion interessiert. Ihr zentraler Begriff der Transaktion taugt nicht als Interaktionsmedium der Wissensteilung. Hier geht es vielmehr um Wissensteilhabe. Der Beitrag besteht insgesamt in dem Versuch, der Wissensteilung eine institutionenökonomische Grundlage zu geben.
