Apotheken im demografischen Wandel: Eine Analyse zur Zukunft der Apotheken in Westfalen-Lippe

Abstract

- Das "Apothekensterben" in Westfalen-Lippe findet hauptsächlich in den Städten des Ruhrgebiets statt. - Während die Anzahl der Apotheken in den letzten Jahren abgenommen hat, hat die Anzahl der Beschäftigten in Apotheken deutlich zugenommen. - Die Zunahme der älteren Bevölkerung wird den Bedarf an Medikamenten und Beratung in naher Zukunft deutlich erhöhen. - Die Apothekenlandschaft steht vor einem großen Umbruch. Vor allem die ländlichen Kreise müssen sich rechtzeitig um Nachfolgeregelungen bemühen, damit die medikamentöse Versorgung für die Bevölkerung langfristig gesichert werden kann.
