Altpapier: Preisentwicklungen und Preisindizes

Abstract

Altpapier ist bereits seit Längerem ein gefragter Sekundärrohstoff. In der Papierproduktion kommt er in großem Umfang zum Einsatz und wird zugleich mittels etablierter Erfassungssysteme in Deutschland in hohem Maße getrennt von anderen Fraktionen zurückgeholt. Zwar unterliegen die Preise für die verschiedenen Alt-papiersorten im Zeitablauf merklichen Schwankungen. Jedoch hat dies in der Ver-gangenheit der Rückholung und dem Recycling von Altpapier keinen Abbruch getan. Gegenstand der Studie sind die Preisentwicklungen ausgewählter Altpapiersorten und deren Abbildung in Preisindizes. Die Fragestellungen sind dabei, inwieweit diese Indizes die Preisentwicklungen gut abbilden, ob ihnen dies gleichermaßen gelingt oder ob es beobachtbare und im Laufe der Zeit veränderliche Abweichungen gibt.
