Verantwortliche Unternehmensführung in der Plattformwirtschaft: Europäische Strategien für eine fairere Ordnung der globalen Digitalökonomie

Abstract

Die Plattformökonomie ist in der Krise. Das ist bekannt. Weniger bekannt ist, welche Strategien europäische Plattformen erproben, um es besser zu machen. Nachhaltige Wertschöpfung kann dann gelingen, wenn Plattformen aus Brüssel gute Regeln bekommen. Noch besser aber: Sie adaptieren erprobte Strategien von erfolgreichen und nachhaltigen europäischen Digitalunternehmen. Darunter: eine aktive Verantwortungsübernahme für ihre Rolle im Leben, Arbeiten und Wirtschaften ihrer Kund:innen und Unternehmer:innen, ein Commitment zu klareren Regeln und algorithmischer Transparenz, ein Eintreten für Interoperabilität und Offenheit und ein klares Bekenntnis, statt reiner Gewinnmaximierung eine nachhaltige Plattformwirtschaft anzustreben. Denn die ist möglich - und nötig.
