Pharmazeutische Industrie in den Großräumen Boston und Shanghai: Globale Reorganisation von Forschung und Entwicklung

Abstract

Die Reorganisationen im Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung (FuE) von im Großraum Boston bzw. Shanghai und in Deutschland ansässigen, international agierenden Großunternehmen aus der pharmazeutischen Industrie sind hauptsächlich als Expansionen und Erweiterungen bestehender Aktivitäten einzuordnen. Sie gehen gegenwärtig in der Regel nicht mit einem Stellenabbau in Deutschland einher. Die untersuchten Unternehmen visieren vor allem den Zugang zu neuen Wissensressourcen und zum Innnovationsökosystem vor Ort an. Arbeitnehmerakteure an den Standorten Boston bzw. Shanghai haben bei solchen Reorganisationen sehr begrenzte Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten.
