Kellnern – das schafft keiner bis 67: Eine Fallstudie zu chronischen Belastungen und Erkrankungen im Gastgewerbe

Abstract

Die vorliegende Fallstudie untersucht Struktur und Kultur des überwiegend klein- und mittelbetrieblich geprägten Gastgewerbes auf die Frage hin, wie Betriebe und Beschäftigte mit chronischer Erkrankung, Wiedereingliederung und Teilhabe am Arbeitsleben umgehen. Im Ergebnis zeigen sich sehr unterschiedliche betriebliche und persönliche Konstellationen, die vom abrupten Berufsausstieg bis zur uneingeschränkt positiven Berufsorientierung reichen. Deutlich wird der hohe Bedarf an Beratungs- und Unterstützungsstrukturen, die aufzubauen für dringend erforderlich gehalten wird.
