Internationale Bildungsanbieter auf dem deutschen Markt: Fallstudien

Abstract

Die Länder der Europäischen Union haben beschlossen, bis 2010 einen einheitlichen europäischen Bildungsraum für Berufsausbildung, Studium und Weiterbildung zu schaffen. Internationale, private Bildungsdienstleister haben in den letzten Jahren auch in Deutschland Fuß gefasst. Wie viele internationale Bildungsanbieter sich bereits auf dem deutschen Markt betätigen und wie groß deren Marktanteile sind, ist bislang nicht bekannt. In der vorliegenden, explorativen Studie untersuchen die Autoren 13 internationale, in Deutschland tätige Bildungsträger und gehen dabei der Frage nach, welches Innovationspotential, welche Risiken und welche Herausforderungen sich für das deutsche Bildungssystem in ihrem Angebot abzeichnen.
