Abstract

Für Beschäftigte, die wegen einer Krankheit längere Fehlzeiten haben, besteht ein großes Risiko, den Arbeitsplatz zu verlieren. Das betriebliche Eingliederungsmanagement (BEM) ist deshalb ein wichtiges Instrument, um längerfristig oder wiederholt erkrankte Beschäftigte im Unternehmen zu halten. Das Gesetz verpflichtet den Arbeitgeber zur Zusammenarbeit mit den Interessenvertretungen (Betriebs- oder Personalrat bzw. Schwerbehindertenvertretung) mit dem Ziel, Arbeitsunfähigkeit von Beschäftigten vorzubeugen und Arbeitsplätze zu erhalten.Dieser Handlungsleitfaden soll die Interessenvertretungen dabei unterstützen, ein betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement im Unternehmen zu etablieren. Ziel sollte eine Betriebs- bzw. Dienstvereinbarung sein. Der Handlungsleitfaden bietet eineÜbersicht der rechtlichen Grundlagen, Mustervereinbarungen und eine Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung zur Durchführung des BEM. Ziel der Gewerkschaften ist es, dass alle Beschäftigten vom betrieblichen Eingliederungsmanagement im Rahmen eines umfassenden Präventions- und Gesundheitsmanagements im Unternehmen profitieren können.
