Wissenserwerb und Lernverhalten von Betriebsratsmitgliedern: Ein Literaturbericht im Auftrag der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung

Abstract

Was veranlasst Betriebsratsmitglieder, sich weiterzubilden, ein Seminar zu besuchen, oder ganz allgemein, nach Informationen zur Lösung von auftretenden Problemen zu suchen? Welche Lern- und Qualifizierungswege bevorzugen sie, welche Rolle spielt dabei der Besuch von Bildungsveranstaltungen? Vorliegende Untersuchungen dazu sichtet diese Studie. Ergebnis: Es sind betriebliche Handlungsprobleme, die zur Qualifizierung veranlassen. Der Bedarf an Wissen und Kompetenzen ist auf Anwendung orientiert. Neben förmlichen Bildungsveranstaltungen nutzen Betriebsratsmitglieder auch Bücher, Zeitschriften und Internet und suchen die Lösung von Problemen in Gesprächen mit Experten. Darüber hinaus ist auch der Wunsch nach beruflichem Fortkommen Anlass für eine Qualifizierung.
