Abstract

Bereits in den ersten Wochen der Corona-Epidemie wurde deutlich: Deutschlands Abhängigkeit von globalen Wertschöpfungsketten kann in Krisenzeiten ein Fluch sein, wenn Teile der heimischen Produktion und der Versorgung aufgrund fehlender Lieferungen nicht mehr funktionieren. Wie stark ist Deutschlands Wirtschaft von internationalen Güterströmen abhängig? Welche Sektoren sind besonders betroffen? Welche Entwicklungen sind in der Zukunft, gerade angesichts der Coronavirus-Krise, zu erwarten?
