Personalmanagement im Handwerk: Externe Kompetenz als Erfolgsfaktor!?

Abstract

Kleine und mittlere Handwerksbetriebe haben selten die Ressourcen, um eine professionelle Personalarbeit umzusetzen. Die Betriebsberater der Handwerkskammern können ihnen dabei als externe Unterstützer helfen, ihre Personalarbeit zu professionalisieren. Die Autoren beschreiben, wie die Betriebsberatung aktuell positioniert ist und wie sich die Situation der Handwerksbetriebe im Hinblick auf personalwirtschaftliche Themenfelder einschließlich der demographischen Entwicklung verbessern lässt. Hintergrund der Ausführungen sind Ergebnisse und Erkenntnisse aus dem Projekt Personalmanagement im Handwerk - Beratung der Berater, das zusammen mit den Handwerkskammern in Schleswig-Holstein und der Fachhochschule Flensburg durchgeführt wurde. In diesem Projekt wurden Methoden der klassischen empirischen Personalforschung mit der Methode der Aktionsforschung verknüpft. Im Ergebnis zeigte sich, dass Handwerksbetriebe externe Unterstützung benötigen und dass diese auch in ein Konzept zum Regionalmanagement eingebettet werden kann.
