Abstract

Der vorliegende Arbeitsbericht beschäftigt sich mit Methoden zur Formulierung von EBusiness-Strategien. Ausgehend von Überlegungen zum raschen Aufschwung und ebenso spektakulären Niedergang vieler Internetaktivitäten in den letzten Jahrzehnten widmet sich dieser Arbeitsbericht der Notwendigkeit einer fundierten Analyse von E-Business-Potenzialen zur Erzielung eines langfristigen Geschäftserfolgs im E-Business. Die Frage nach der adäquaten Nutzung des Internets ist letztlich strategischer Natur und besitzt für immer mehr Unternehmen geschäftsentscheidende Bedeutung. Der Arbeitsbericht motiviert zunächst die Durchführung einer fundierten Potenzialanalyse im E-Business und führt dann in Grundlagen des strategischen Managements ein. Ausgehend hiervon wird die grundlegende strategische Bedeutung des Internets für den Geschäftserfolg von Unternehmen verdeutlicht. Den Kern bildet dann die Diskussion zweier exemplarischer Methoden der strategischen Planung zur Identifikation von E-Business-Potenzialen.
