Stichproben, Stichprobenauswahlverfahren und Berechnung des minimal erforderlichen Stichprobenumfangs

Abstract

Wann ist eine Stichprobe repräsentativ? Wie viele Personen müssen befragt, wie viele Messwerte erhoben werden, um repräsentative Ergebnisse zu erzielen? Anhand welcher Verfahren kann die Auswahl der Stichprobenelemente vorgenommen werden? Welche Vor- und Nachteile sind mit dem jeweiligen Stichprobenauswahlverfahren verbunden? Der vorliegende Beitrag widmet sich der Beantwortung dieser forschungspraktischen Fragen. Der minimal erforderliche Stichprobenumfang hängt von der anvisierten Fehlergenauigkeit (tolerierter Fehler), der gewählten Sicherheitswahrscheinlichkeit sowie der Größe der Grundgesamtheit ab. Es wird analysiert, wie sehr diese Parameter den Stichprobenumfang beeinflussen.
