Abstract

Tässä selvityksessä esitetään historiallinen katsaus suomalaisiin korkoihin 1860-luvulta l950-luvun alkuun asti, jolloin siirryttiin korkosäännösteltyihin rahoitusmarkkinoihin. Tilastoliitteessä julkaistaan ensimmäiset pitkät aikasarjat pankkien luotto- ja talletuskoroista.Mukaan on liikepankkien soveltamien, lähinnä lyhyiden korkojen lisäksi otettu Suomen Hypoteekkiyhdistyksen luottojen korko ja markkinoilla vallinnut obligaatiotuotto kuvaamaan pitkän rahan hintaa.Liikepankkien tiedot perustuvat lähinnä Suomen Yhdyspankin arkistoaineistoon. Tilastoissa ovat mukana myös Suomen Pankkia koskevat perustilastot.Talletuskorkojen ja obligaatiotuoton osalta tilastot ovat saatavissa myös kuukausiaineistona Aineisto on saatavissa myös levykkeellä Suomen Pankin tutkimusosastolta.
