Suorien sijoitusten uudelleen sijoitettujen voittojen seuranta ja ennustaminen

Abstract

Suorien sijoitusten uudelleen sijoitetut voitot on kirjattava maksutaseeseen sille ajanjaksolle jolloin voitot ansaitaan.Koska Suomen Pankin seurantakyselytieto suomalaisten yritysten ulkomaisiin kohteisiin ja ulkomaisten yritysten suomalaisiin kohteisiin uudelleen sijoitetuista voitoista saadaan noin 1 1/2 vuotta ennakkotietotarpeen jälkeen on uudelleen sijoitetut voitot Kansainvälisen valuuttarahaston mukaan ennustettava maksutasetta varten.Tässä selvityksessä uudelleen sijoitettujen voittojen arviointia lähestyttiin sekä yrityskohtaisesta että kokonaistaloudellisesta näkökulmasta.Selvityksessä kehitettiin menetelmä jonka avulla voidaan seurata kansainvälistyneiden suomalaisyritysten tuloskehitystä.Selvityksessä muodostettiin myös ekonometrinen malli jossa kokonaistaloudellisen kehityksen avulla selitetään suorien sijoitusten tuloskehitystä Suomessa ja ulkomailla.Selvityksen tulosten perusteella suorien sijoitusten uudelleen sijoitettujen voittojen ennusteen pohjana kannattaa käyttää selvityksessä muodostettua mallia, koska malli arvioi sijoituskohteiden toteutuneen tuloskehityksen hyvin.Suorissa sijoituksissa ulkomaille mallin perusteella tehdyn ennusteen rinnalla seurataan yrityskohtaista tuloskehitystä.Ainoastaan yrityskohtaista tuloskehitystä seuraamalla ei voida luotettavasti arvioida yritysten ulkomaisten sijoituskohteiden tulevaa tuloskehitystä.
