Työn tuottavuuden kasvu toimialojen kokemusten valossa

Abstract

Selvityksessä tarkastellaan toimiala-aineistoa käyttäen työn tuottavuuden riippuvuutta pääomasta ja tuotannon mittakaavasta. Kasvulaskelmien yksinkertainen tuotantofunktio selittää hyvin toimialojen keskimääräisen tuottavuuden kasvun koko tarkastelujakson 1960–91 aikana, mutta huonosti sekä tarkasteltujen osajaksojen 1960–73 ja 1973–91 että eri toimialojen poikkeamat keskimääräisestä kasvusta. Pääoman estimoitu rajatuottavuus oli varsinkin jälkimmäisen osajakson aikana selvästi kasvulaskelmissa oletettua alhaisempi.
