Kotitalouksien varallisuuden koostumus, tuotot ja verotus Suomessa vuosina 1960-89

Abstract

Tähän tutkimukseen on koottu aikasarjat kotitalouksien varallisuuden jakautumisesta eri sijoituskohteisiin vuosina 1960 - 89. Varallisuus on pyritty arvioimaan mahdollisimman kattavasti markkinahintaisena. Varallisuuserille on laskettu nimelliset, reaaliset ja verojenjälkeiset tuotot. Suomessa käynnistyi 1980-luvulla varallisuusportfolion diversifioiminen, jonka seurauksena rahoitusvarallisuuden suhteellinen osuus kotitalouksien kokonaisvarallisuudesta kasvoi. Aikatalletusten ja osakkeiden portfolio-osuudet lisääntyivät selvästi. Samanaikaisesti asunto varallisuuden osuus kotitalouksien reaalivarallisuudesta tuli entistäkin hallitsevammaksi. Keskeisimpänä syynä kotitalouksien varallisuusportfolion rakenteen muuttumiseen on ollut kotitalouksien likviditeettirajoitusten poistuminen ja sijoitusvaihtoehtojen monipuolistuminen 1980-luvulla.
