(Berufliche) Weiterbildung in Befragungsdaten: Erhebungskonstrukte und Differenzierungsmerkmale

Abstract

Der weit verbreitete Eindruck der Uneinheitlichkeit von statistischen Informationen zur (beruflichen) Weiterbildung dürfte zu einem Teil auf Unterschiede in Erhebungskonstrukten zurückzuführen sein. Denn was unter (beruflicher) Weiterbildung verstanden wird und wie Weiterbildungsaktivitäten erfasst und differenziert werden, ist in den einschlägigen Erhebungen höchst unterschiedlich. Die vorliegende Publikation liefert eine übersichtliche Zusammenschau und Gegenüberstellung der Erhebungskonstrukte und zusätzlicher Differenzierungsmerkmale, wobei ein besonderes Augenmerk auf der beruflichen Weiterbildung liegt. Sie soll Forschenden, die sich mit einschlägigen Erhebungen beschäftigen, den Einstieg in die Thematik erleichtern, die Nutzer/-innen von weiterbildungsbezogenen statistischen Informationen für die unterschiedlichen Messungen des Weiterbildungsverhaltens sensibilisieren und zu einer reflektierten Datennutzung beitragen.
