Teor�a de crecimiento semi-end�geno vs Teor�a de crecimiento completamente end�geno: una valoraci�n sectorial

Abstract

En la �ltima d�cada la teor�a de crecimiento end�geno ha generado una segunda generaci�n de modelos para ofrecer una respuesta a las paradojas emp�ricas surgidas con referencia a la primera generaci�n. Estos modelos se desarrollan en torno a dos propuestas te�ricas: la teor�a de crecimiento semi-end�geno y la teor�a del crecimiento completamente end�geno con supuestos dis�miles respecto al principal factor impulsor del crecimiento econ�mico: el progreso t�cnico. En esta investigaci�n, por primera vez, se analiza la validez de las citadas teor�as en un contexto sectorial, aplicando los m�s modernos test y procedimientos de estimaci�n econom�trica para el tratamiento de series temporales de datos de panel.
