De toename van de bereikbaarheid in Nederland tussen 1970 en 1990

Abstract

Randstad-regio's blijken zowel in 1970 als in 1990 de meest bereikbare te zijn. Wanneer echter de relatieve toename geanalyseerd wordt, blijkt dat juist de perifere regio' s het meest geprofiteerd te hebben van de aanleg van snelwegen. Ook bij de toename van de internationale bereikbaarheid hebben deze regio' s het meest geprofiteerd. Hierdoor is de relatieve achterstand van deze regio's sterk verminderd.
