Grupos económicos nacionales con presencia en la industria (2010-2015)

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide a set of data related to national business groups with presence in large industrial companies for the period 2010-2015. The topic related to national business groups has been weakly addressed in this period, so this work tries, albeit partially and with a certain sectoral bias, to contribute to it. It is understood that these data can contribute to future research on the issue, while encouraging criticism and contribution to enrichment by the academic community. In addition to the data in question, related to each of the groups studied, the work presents a detail of the sources and methodology used in the study of this type of business structures. In this way, there is also a contribution regarding the methodological discussion and the available sources for a study of these characteristics in Uruguay.
