Abstract

This paper analyzes those export markets that can be of interest for middle income countries. For a sample of 20 countries, export markets are classified according to their attractiveness and competitive strength. The analysis offers some economic policy recommendations, with special emphasis on those to strengthen the participation in those markets that are particularly attractive for exports.
