La financiación de entresuelo

Abstract

La financiación de entresuelo (mezzanine) es un tipo de financiación intermedio entre la deuda principal y los recursos propios. Tiene la forma de deuda subordinada, es decir, que los prestamistas sólo recibirán los intereses si hay beneficios. Esto hace que sea más arriesgada que la deuda principal. puesto que la empresa tiene la obligación de pagar los intereses de ésta última pase lo que pase, pero tiene menos riesgo que los fondos propios de la compañía, puesto que antes de repartir dividendos se deberán pagar los intereses de la deuda de entresuelo. Por lo tanto, al inversor le proporciona un rendimiento superior al que obtendría mediante deuda principal, con un riesgo inferior al que representa la adquisición de acciones.
