Abstract

Die Berichterstattung ueber nichtfinanzielle Informationen gewinnt immer mehr an Bedeutung. Immer mehr Stakeholder haben ein groeßeres Interesse an nicht finanziellen Informationen, um damit einen tieferen Einblick in die oekologischen und sozialen Handlungen der Unternehmen zu erlangen. Diesen Anforderungen versuchen zahlreiche Unternehmen durch die Erstellung von Nachhaltigkeitsberichten nachzukommen. Der vorliegende Beitrag zeigt die aktuelle Berichterstattung im Hinblick auf die oekologische und soziale Nachhaltigkeitin den groeßten europaeischen Unternehmen. Insb. wird der Umfang der wesentlichen Thematiken bzw. Inhalt ein Bezug auf oekologische und soziale Dimensionen anhand eines Indexmodells dargestellt. Zudem wird kurz auf den juengst von der EU-Kommission veroeffentlichten Vorschlag zur Ueberarbeitung der Richtlinie 2013/34/EU eingegangen.
