Abstract

Alors que la zone euro affichait depuis 2001 des performances décevantes, la reprise enclenchée au premier semestre 2006 s’est confirmée, marquant le début d’une période de croissance plus rapide. La dynamique a été impulsée par un cycle favorable à l’investissement productif. Après des années d'ajustement, l'embellie du coté des entreprises est nette. Leur rentabilité s’améliore et la profitabilité se maintient malgré le resserrement monétaire. Tout semble réuni pour que ce scénario positif se maintienne en 2007 et 2008. Les entreprises poursuivraient leur politique d’investissement. Les ménages profiteraient de la baisse du chômage et d’une augmentation des salaires sans pour autant que l'inflation n'accélère du fait des gains de productivité. Malgré un euro fort, l'environnement extérieur favoriserait également la croissance en raison d’une demande mondiale soutenue. [Premier paragraphe]
