Abstract

The present paper presents The biblical reference points of music, The manifestations of Protestant music culture and The excellence in music. The Protestant music started with Luther, Calvin and continued with Bach, Handel, Brahms, asserting itself in Europe, North America, Africa, and recently in Asia. The Protestant culture, especially the musical one, has penetrated all aspects of civilization, being by far, through its representatives, one of the most powerful spiritual dimensions in human history. The future of a better world consists of a more educated and more sensible generation in which music can make people better. The values of the Protestant Evangelical music can contribute to the human spiritual dimension and to the beauty of its culture and civilization.
