Abstract

В ноябре 2005 года в странах Евросоюза был обнародован крупный проект «Транспортные сети для мира и развития. Развитие основных трансъевропейских транспортных осей в направлении соседних стран и регионов». В ряде материалов, опубликованных по поводу указанного проекта, отмечается, что к 2020 году можно ожидать «прохождения» по транспортным артериям ЕС до 4,5 млн. железнодорожных грузовых составов в год. Цифра, безусловно, впечатляет. Какое же место отводится России в планах ЕС и что предпринимается для интеграции в транспортные проекты Запада? Прокомментировать общую ситуацию мы попросили заведующего лабораторией анализа и прогнозирования транспортно-логистических систем Института народнохозяйственного прогнозирования РАН доктора экономических наук Юрия Щербанина.
