Abstract

The oil sector is one of the base in the Russian economy and plays a leading role in the formation of government revenues and the country's trade balance. This paper analyzes the main trends in the Russian oil sector, including the production and processing of crude oil, petroleum exports, domestic consumption of oil, the price of oil and petroleum products, government regulation. Proposed public policy measures to ensure the further development of the oil sector of the Russian economy.
