Abstract

As part of this work, the provisions of the OECD Declaration on International Investments and Multinational Enterprises of 1976, as well as the standards of responsible business of the OECD, were analyzed. More than 75% of institutional investors in the world today are guided by the principles of sustainable development, impose responsible behavior requirements on investment recipients. An analysis of the OECD sectoral guidelines shows that these standards already today have an impact on the Russian economy and enterprises. The non-participation of Russia in the formation of standards of the OVB puts Russian enterprises in a less advantageous position than companies from the countries participating in the Declaration, as our companies are forced to comply with the standards that they did not take part in the formation of.
