Economic Activity of the Population of Chelyabinsk Region

Abstract

The article analyzes peculiarities of economic activity of Chelyabinsk Region population, revealed during a sociological research and on the basis of the Federal State Statistics Service data: the number of engaged in the economy of the region, the composition of employed and unemployed population by age group and education level, the percent of engaged in different economic activities, and also motifs for keeping/changing one’s job and profession.
