Abstract
Durante la década de los noventa hubo un flujo significativo de capitales privados hacia los sectores de infraestructura (de aquí en más IPI – Inversión Privada en Infraestructura) particularmente hacia los países emergentes. A partir de 1990 se contabilizan casi 2500 proyectos de infraestructura con financiamiento del sector privado en más de 130 países alrededor del mundo .
