Abstract

It has been noticed that many kinds of jobs require experience in different domains of activity and graduates, with no experience at all, have to comply with this request – this is the main reason why student practical activity constituted the object of a legislative measure adopted by the Romanian Parliament, published in the Official Gazette (nr.258/2007, on July). The students practical activity plays multiple roles, on one hand, this is a suitable way for students to gain experience, to learn to apply theoretical knowledge and to adapt to organizational climate; on the other hand, they understand what a career means, how they can develop that type of career according to their type of personality (Holland Theory), how they can build a career for themselves. In order to have a really successful career, students have to choose an adviser and they have to understand that an adviser is like a guide who walks by their side.
