Abstract

Tämän väliraportin tarkoitus on antaa lukijalle yleiskuva kansainvälisesti ainutlaatuisesta haastatteluaineistosta. Väliraportin painopiste on aineiston kuvaamisessa ja esittelyssä. Tutkimuksen perusjoukon muodostivat yli 50 henkilöä työllistävät teollisuusyritykset Tilastokeskuksen yritysrekisterissä syyskuussa 2005. Näin määriteltynä perusjoukkoon kuului n. 1000 yritystä, joista kyselyyn vastasi 400 satunnaisesti poimittua yritystä. Vastaajilta kysyttiin tietoja muun muassa henkilöstön osallistumisesta yrityksen hallintoon, taloudellisista kannustinjärjestelmistä, tietotekniikan käytöstä, koulutuksesta ja omistus- ja organisaatiomuutoksista. Kysymykset kartoittivat nykytilaa, mutta monet kysymykset selvittivät käytäntöjä aina vuoteen 2002 asti. Alustava tilastollinen analyysi osoittaa, että keräämillämme mittareilla saattaa hyvin olla vaikutusta tuottavuuseroihin yritysten välillä. Tarkastelemme näitä kysymyksiä tarkemmin hankkeen toisessa vaiheessa, jossa huomioidaan usean tekijän samanaikainen vaikutus yritystason tuottavuuteen.
