L impact socio-economique de la maladie a virus Ebola en Guinee,au Liberia et en Sierra Leone

Abstract

La maladie à virus Ebola représente désormais un dé complexe pour le développement en Guinée, au Libéria et en Sierra Leone. En huit mois, la &ambée actuelle a entraîné plus de cas de contamination et de décès que toutes les épidémies précédentes combinées. Dans les pays touchés, l’insu-sance des capacités, la faiblesse des ressources humaines,la carence des systèmes de santé couplées à des &ux migratoires incontrôlés, au manque de cohésion sociale et à la persistance de certaines croyances et pratiques traditionnelles sont autant de facteurs concomitants qui ont contribué à la propagation de l’épidémie.
