[The agribusiness in the north and northeast regions of Brazil]

Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to analyze the level of development in the Agribusiness of the Brazilian regions North and Northeast for the years of 1985, 1990 and 1995; using inter-regional input-output analysis. The results obtained show: how the Agribusiness is structured inside the regions; and how the trade flows of the Agribusiness take place among the regions.
