Abstract

The paper’s aim is to present methodological aspects of scoping review. The reason for preparing the paper about it is development of literature review’s types. Increasing volume of scholar papers and research published by independent institutes causes the need to elaborate tools for handling with information load. It is especially important for research protocol referring to Systematic Literature Review. The paper employs critical literature review supplemented by quantitative analysis of bibliographic data possessed from Scopus and secondary sources. Existing descriptions of scoping review’s methodology allow to positively evaluate its research procedure in terms of fulfilling rigour criteria and utility of research results by practitioners and decision makers. Summary in Polish: Celem artykułu jest prezentacja metodyki przeglądu zakresu literatury (ang. Scoping Review – PZL). Przesłanką podjęcia tematu jest ciągły rozwój rodzajów analizy piśmiennictwa, która wobec współczesnego nasycenia informacjami w dobie Internetu jest ważnym zadaniem badawczym. Artykuł przygotowano z wykorzystaniem metody krytycznego przeglądu literatury, uzupełnionej ilościową analizą danych bibliograficznych pozyskanych z bazy Scopus i ze źródeł wtórnych. Dotychczasowe opisy metodologii PZL pozwalają na pozytywną ocenę jej toku postępowania pod względem spełniania kryteriów rygoru metodologicznego oraz użyteczności wykorzystania wyników badania przeprowadzonego zgodnie z nią dla praktyków.
