Abstract

Nella prima parte di questo lavoro vengono analizzate alcune delle principali dottrine economiche che hanno contribuito a definire il fenomeno competitivo. Si è cercato di ricostruire storicamente la definizione di competitività attraverso i contributi più rilevanti del pensiero economico cercando di sottolineare l’aspetto polivalente che questi attribuiscono al tema. Nella seconda parte l’attenzione si è concentrata sugli indicatori utilizzati per la sua misurazione e sulla loro adeguatezza tenendo in considerazione l’evoluzione continua del concetto di competitività.
