Abstract

Public Value Management (PVM) merupakan pendekatan dalam pengelolaan sektor publik yang berfokus pada penciptaan nilai bagi publik. Dibandingkan dengan pendekatan manajemen tradisional yang seringkali berfokus pada efisiensi dan efektivitas, PVM menekankan pada penciptaan, identifikasi, dan pengukuran nilai yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Konsep ini telah dikembangkan sebagai tanggapan terhadap keterbatasan dari model New Public Management (NPM) yang menerapkan prinsip-prinsip bisnis ke dalam sektor publik.
