Ikääntyvien kotihoidossa käytettävien teknologioiden oltava toimivia ja käyttäjäystävällisiä

Abstract

Teknologian käyttöönottoon on ladattu runsaasti erilaisia toiveita niin kotihoidon asiakkaiden lääkehoidon kuin kotihoidon työntekijöiden työn sujuvoittajana. Teknologisoitumisen toivotaan tuovan mukanaan julkisen talouden kustannussäästöjä, korjaavan alan työvoimapulaa sekä tehostavan työn tekemisen tapoja. Kotihoidon lääkeannosteluteknologioita kartoittava tutkimus tukee toivotun suuntaisia vaikutuksia potilasterveyteen sekä terveyspalvelujen käyttöön ja kustannuksiin. Onnistunut teknologisoitumiskehitys kuitenkin edellyttää sen käyttäjien näkökulman huomioimista.
