Pemikiran Ekonomi Islam Pada Masa Daulah Umayyah

Abstract

Dinasti Umayah merupakan kerajaan islam pertama, kemandirian terhadap segala aspek termasuk kemandirain perekonomian merupakan hal yang harus terwujudkan demi tercapainya kesejahtraan masyarakat serta untuk menunjang keberlangsungan dinasti umayyah. Dalam perjalanan panjangnya dinasti umayyah dipimpin oleh sebanyak 14 khalifah, dengan berbagai corak kepemimpinan yang dimiliki setiap khalifah. Namun, dari 14 khalifah yang pernah memimpin, hanya ada 3 pemimpin yang membawa daulah umayyah mencapai puncak kejayaan. Ketiga khalifah tersebut diantaranya Mu’awiyah bin Abi Sofyan, Abdul Malik bin Marwan serta Umar bin Abdul Aziz. Maka dari itu, tulisan ini memfokuskan mengkaji tentang kebijakan kebijakan, terutama kebijakan ekonomi yang diambil oleh ketiga khalifah tersebut sehingga mencapai masa kegemilangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan,salah satu kebijkaan dari Mu’awiyah bin Abi Sofyan dengan menerapkan ekonomi armada laut, untuk melangsungkan kemudahan dalam pergadangan. Dilanjutkan oleh Abdul Malik bin Marwan yang pertama kalinya mencetak uang logam pengganti Dinar dan Dirham, yang memberikan rasa keamanan serta percaya diri berdagang dengan eropa. Selanjutnya ada Umar bin Abdul Aziz yang menghentikan perluasan wilayah serta berfokus terhadap pembenahan internal, sehingga mampu meningkatkan kesejahtraan dengan puncak tidak ada lagi mustahik ketika membangikan hasil zakat, hampir semua masyaraat telah menjadi muzakki.
