Abstract

Resesi dalam perspektif makro ekonomi merupakan kondisi penurunan PDB bernilai negatif suatu negara selama dua kuartal berturut-turut. Sedangkan PDB adalah nilai barang & jasa yang diproduksi suatu negara yang dirumuskan dalam PDB = Konsumsi + Investasi + Pengeluaran Pemerintah + (Ekspor – Impor). Maka, faktor-faktor yang membuat suatu negara resesi adalah penurunan variabel dalam rumus PDB yang signifikan, misalkan penurunan drastis konsumsi masyarakat akibat force majeure.
