Abstract

Today many people question God, humans, and the universe. In this writing, the focus is on humans because nowadays many people are wondering about themselves, with the knowledge that humans have so they try to find answers about themselves. Because of human limitations in answering about himself, many people seek answers in religion or belief, and even through philosophy. Questions about humans from time to time continue so that there are many definitions of humans which results in people often overlapping in drawing conclusions about humans. The Bible also provides views on humans so that there are many definitions that arise because many people interpret humans. Definitions about humans from various perspectives sometimes fail to make people confused in recognizing themselves and their essence in the world. R.F Beering said that the split it self is a must in philosophy and he is a question of human opinion disputes about man himself. From the problems and questions that exist about humans today, human philosophy or also called philosophical anthropology should be able to answer these questions.
