Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu prioritas pengembangan di setiap Negara. Hal ini disebabkan oleh besarnya sumbangsih UMKM terhadap Negara, khususnya dalam bidang ekonomi dan sosial. Selain meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi Negara, UMKM sangat berperan dalam penyerapa tenaga kerja sektor informal dan pemerataan pendapatan masyarakat, khususnya di daerah. Permasalahan utama UMKM di Indonesia adalah kendala yang bersifat internal. Menurut Bank Indonesia, kendala internal meliputi masalah modal, SDM, hukum, dan akuntabilitas. Sedangkan menurut Bank Indonesia (2015), kendala eksternal yang dialami oleh UMKM meliputi iklim usaha, infrastruktur, dan akses. Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh UMKM, baik internal maupun eksternal, hendaknya dibantu oleh pemerintah agar UMKM yang ada dapat berkembang dan bersaing dengan lebih baik.
