Abstract

Tujuan koperasi dijelaskan dalam Pasal 4 UU No. 17/2012. Menurut pasal tersebut, tujuan koperasi Indonesia adalah “Koperasi bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan anaggota pada khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya, sekaligus sebagai bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari tatanan perekonomian nasional yang demokratis dan berkeadilan”. Dengan tujuan tersebut, koperasi mendapat kedudukan yang sangat terhormat dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Koperasi merupakan satu-satunya bentuk perusahaan yang secara konstitusional dinyatakan sesuai dengan susunan perekonomian yang hendak dibangun di negeri ini
